Westport's veterans memorial

The Street of Flags is the memorial at Veterans Memorial Park, a run of flags with the Veterans Memorial Wall alongside it. It is where Westport holds its Memorial Day and Veterans Day services. This is a fishing town, and the memorial reads like one. The names on the wall belong to families who are still here and still on the water, and the flags go up for them. It takes a few minutes, it is free, and it is the most direct thing in town about who lives here.
