Charter Boat Services
The Westport Charter Boat Association has been part of Westport, Washington’s fishing heritage since 1957. Founded to promote charter-boat salmon fishing from the Westport Marina, the association has helped represent generations of local captains and charter operators as Westport grew into one of the Pacific Northwest’s best-known recreational fishing destinations. During the height of Westport’s salmon-fishing era, the marina supported approximately 200 charter boats and welcomed hundreds of thousands of anglers in strong seasons. Today, association members continue that tradition with trips targeting salmon, halibut, albacore tuna, lingcod, rockfish and other Pacific Northwest fisheries. Beyond promoting Westport charter fishing, the association supports responsible fishery management, works with state, federal and tribal management agencies, participates in fisheries data efforts, and helps promote vessel safety alongside the U.S. Coast Guard.
